Job Description
Position Title: Wire Assembler
Wage: $17.50/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: Mon-Thurs 5:30am-4pm with some mandatory OT
Sick of working 5+ days/week and doing the same monotonous work all day every day? This Wire Assembly position is a 4 day, 10-hour work week (with some overtime) and the work varies daily. If you have a knack for technical work and are familiar with computers, this could be the perfect position for you! Associate to hire in Cedar Rapids, IA.
Wire Assembler Responsibilities:
- Use of hand tools to strip and cut wires
- Mark identifying label data on completed harnesses
- Accurately read a tape measure to cut wire to size
- Use a solder iron to connect wires to switches or connectors
Requirements for Wire Assembler:
- Work in a fast paced environment
- Willing to work 40 hours per week and be flexible to work overtime
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Efficient with computers
