Job Description

Mansfield Service Partners is looking for a Customer Service Representative for our Houston, TX location to assist and support customers and outside sales team with product order requests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • CUSTOMER SUPPORT- Assist and support customers and outside sales team with requests to include but not limited to:
    1. Answering phones, customer account look-up, place fuel and lube orders (or route to appropriate department)
    2. Provide fuel and lube order status updates and ETAs
    3. Customer Support to include resolving monitor related concerns, sending copies of POD's, invoices, or other needs as requested
    4. Daily Reports to include monitor level reports, NRU, low battery, or KPI documents
    5. Assist sales team with documentation for customer new tank setups, tank pickups or moves, research issues with monitors to help resolve, process call in requests
    6. Oversight and execution of all SMARTank support and operational functions
      • Monitor portal to check fuel levels as needed to maximize orders
      • Process user setups for access to customer tanks
      • Reset user passwords
      • Setup monitors with equipment technicians
      • Process tank pickup and moves
      • Continually monitor customer usage to ensure efficiencies are being met or if adjustments are needed
      • Initiate and process equipment service requests
  • ORDERS - Process monitor orders timely and with accuracy
    1. Utilize SMARTank to verify fuel levels and place orders at low alarms
    2. Utilize Smart Truck to place and track fuel orders
    3. Receive, Enter, and Process Monitor Customer orders received through Customer Service email or phone calls
    4. PO Maintenance
      • Obtain and process PO's to customers' orders when required
      • Maintain and update customers PO processes when required
      • Review and quickly act on notifications from Equipment when tanks are set to initiate fuel to follow for new tanks within 24 hours
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Physical and Environmental Conditions

The position is located in an office the employee is required to sit for long periods of time and occasionally stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, knee, crouch, talk and hear. The incumbent frequently lifts up to 10 lbs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Workdays are Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, and some weekend work required

Minimum Education, Experience and Certification

  • Minimum one (2) years of experience in inside sales or customer service, preferably in either fuel distribution or light industrial sectors.
  • Previous experience with DM2, SkyBitz (SMARTank and Truck), and Sage is preferred
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Minimum typing speed of 50wpm
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Must possess effective written and oral communication skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving techniques and skills
  • Must have high attention to detail
  • Must be flexible and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
