This is a hybrid remote position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office two days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX.

Assist with development of the vision and strategy for McLane Business Information Services (MBIS) that aligns with McLane's business goals. Demonstrate understanding of the business outcome priorities and how it connects to the digital agenda and potential opportunities, and sequence across business deliveries. Align expectations and development outcomes for each iteration. Assist in managing the project backlogs to deliver the right value for McLane's strategy.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Interact with Domain and Enablers to ensure program is on track and portfolio of new use cases is managed effectively.
  • Oversee use case, projects progress, and deal with issues that arise.
  • Manage demand and resources across MBIS.
  • Influence and drive a wider business transformation to embrace digital on our way of operating and improving growth and profitability.
  • Contribute to management and capability-building of all digital-related teams through training and knowledge management.
  • Track Program and Portfolio activity, including collaborating and providing support across teams and business segments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure digital vision and products align within team strategy and requirements for each sprint.
  • Develop ambitious and clear platform and product vision reviewed by Sr. Delivery Office Analyst or Delivery Office Manager.
  • Participate in creating road map based on McLane's strategic vision.
  • Assist with the project backlog and advise on which projects align to the strategic vision.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to succeed at McLane strategic projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field. Related experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
  • Two years of experience in projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Two years of demonstrated understanding of the business outcome priorities and how it connects to the digital agenda and potential opportunities, sequence across business deliveries, align expectations and development outcomes for each iteration.
  • Two years of Strategic Portfolio Management experience on a small to medium enterprise scale (large scale preferred).
  • Two years of global Digital Transformation program management & execution in a matrixed organizational environment, preferred.
  • Proficiency with multiple development tools and multiple environments, preferred.
