Required Skills / Qualifications:
BSEE, BSME or other engineering related degree
- Min 10 years' of recent Quality Assurance experience in the defense, space electronics or aerospace industry
- Min 7 years' experience as a Quality Manager that includes Lean and Six Sigma experience
- The above experience should include the majority of the following:
-- FAA requirements Title 14 CFR 21 (FSDO).
-- Repair Station Title 14 CFR 145 experience (MIDO).
-- AS9145 APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, MSA, process control plans, process capability
--NADCAP experience (special processes): Heat treating, NDT, EDM
- Min 1 year of experience in AS9100D QMS and in Engine customer specific quality standards - Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce, GE, Safran, CF.
Some light travel expected.
This is a U.S. defense contractor ITAR facility, U.S. Persons required.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Certified FAA DMIR, ARD 8130-3
- EASA Mag-5 8130-3 Repair and Overhaul
- CAAC CCAR-145 Trained
- AS13100 QMS Aero Engine Design and Production Organizations
- ASQ Certified Quality Manager or Certified Quality Engineer
- Six Sigma Black Belt
