  • The Master Data Specialist will setup and maintain consistency & accuracy of Master Data in existing systems in accordance with policies. In this role, you will be part of the Nordson Packaging Master Data Team which is responsible for the efficient and effective management of master data for the Packaging SAP Selling Entities. This position will also support the team in establishing efficiency improvements in processes or systems to support and provide value to business requirement
  • Deliver optimized master data services to internal and external customers
  • Create and edit master data according to established policies and desktop instructions (SAP, etc.)
  • Identify opportunities to improve service proposition
  • Quarterly review and audit of master data documentation
  • Analyzes, validates, and executes request for mass maintenance of master data.
  • Applies corporate rules and best practices when reviewing requests to identify errors in global data fields and rejects, escalates or remediates errors.
  • Utilizes the appropriate application tools and available resources to manage workload and complete assigned duties ensuring commitments are delivered on time.
  • Applies appropriate data cleansing tools to review and audit master data; researches potential duplicate records; ensures compliance with naming and address standard
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and improve their daily tasks
  • Participate in the development, updating and maintenance of departmental procedures and tools for the master data team.
  • Multi-task in a multi-functional environment while maintaining service level targets
  • Supports, implements and enhances customer master data governance rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), naming convention and other enterprise data standards.
  • Ad hoc system data retrieval on request.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
