About the College/Unit/Department | The Center for Applied Isotope Studies is the largest Isotope Geochemistry Laboratory / Radiocarbon AMS Dating Facility in the United States that is accredited under ISO/IEC 17025:2017. As an interdisciplinary research center, our scientists are experts in physical chemistry, geology, marine science, physics, archaeology, ecology and biology. This means that CAIS researchers are able to effectively collaborate in research programs and participate in method development for myriad of industrial and academic applications. |

Duties/Responsibilities | Wet chemistry work as assigned and explained by lab personnel. Sample preparation including weighing, grinding, extraction, drying, etc. |
