Position Summary | This position is in the Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences Department in Blake Billmyre's lab. This incumbent will help establish a research program focused on high throughput genetic analysis of fungal pathogens. This will include the use of molecular genetic, microbiological, chemical genetic, and bioinformatic approaches to understand evolution of complex traits involved in fungal virulence, to understand the emergence of antifungal resistance, and to guide the development of novel antifungal agents. The employee will be working closely with the principal investigator in a small laboratory environment with growth potential. |
