Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Work closely with Quality Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Operations to develop, test, and deploy highly useful, high-quality software. Analyze, design, and develop test cases and implement automated test suites. Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovation that improves product. Partner, collaborate, and solve problems with teams across the company. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members. Take full ownership of the end-to-end quality of the code deployed to production. *HQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in Indianapolis: 433 North Capitol Avenue, 36 South Pennsylvania Street, 1 East Ohio Street, 111 Monument Circle. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in Indianapolis. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field of study, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field OR Bachelor's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related field of study, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Object-oriented programming (Java and Python); (2) SOAP and REST APIs; (3) Software Quality/Testing; (4) SQL; (5) Amazon Web Services (AWS); (6) Database Management Systems; (7) Integration and ETL technologies; and (8) Machine Learning.

Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
