Web Administrator

SUMMARY

The Web Administrator manages the day to day administration and maintenance of the organization's Website. Oversees changes in the site's technical architecture to ensure that the website remains responsive and stable. The Web Administrator participates in the maintenance and troubleshooting of related hardware and software of the site's environment. This position is also responsible for the site's compliance with established standards and specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, implement, manage, monitor and upgrade the organization's website.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues upon notification. Refer to 3rd party for more complex issues.
  • Identify all website security breaches and forward to IT Director.
  • Ensure that the website is protected by enabling the appropriate security measures.
  • Update HTML, CSS and JavaScript regularly.
  • Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.
  • Create appropriate website content aligned to the organization's strategy.
  • Ensure website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plans.
  • Improve the User Experience of the website regularly.
  • Collaborate with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization's standards.
  • Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations, in conjunction with IT Director.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry best practice and monitor competitor websites.
  • Respond to internal request of Web modifications and updates.
  • Create and upload graphics and content for website, including promotional content.
  • Update to website listings.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Services/Technology or equivalent proven experience considered
  • Three years related functional and technical experience with the mentioned technologies
  • Experience with internal controls evaluation and documentation
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP and Suite Commerce/Suite Commerce Advance Sites
  • Implementation of 3rd party APIs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft IIS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 with Focus on Excel
  • Proficiency in Web scripting languages such as HTML, CSS, Javascript
