Calculates, prepares, and delivers human milk and infant formula based upon the provider's order for all infants in the Special Care Nursery. Performs inventory, completes temperature/sanitation records and schedules, operates feeding preparation equipment, maintains proper sanitation policy and procedures in Infant Feeding Prep (IFP) area, and performs quality improvement activities.

REQUIRED

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. One (1) or more years of experience as a Lactation Technician.
3. Successful completion of basic math exam.

PREFERRED

1. Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills.
2. Demonstrated knowledge and skill in sterilization and aseptic techniques.
3. Knowledge of medical terminology.
