Job Description

The Corporate Human Resources Generalist safely performs position specific responsibilities in line with Olympic Steel's core values to ensure high level of productivity, quality, and internal and external customer service while adhering to all relevant company policies and procedures. Tasks to include, but not limited to recruiting, monitoring HR Help Desk calls, processing unemployment claims, and processing invoices, as well as other ad hoc duties as assigned. The HR Generalist will split time between multiple divisions in the Atlanta, GA area.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent; PHR, SHRM-CP or other HR certifications preferred
  • 2 - 5 years of human resources administration and/or recruiting experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • High level or organizational & administrative skills
  • Ability to work confidentially in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled at CRM, ATS or other Human Resources software
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
