Director of Engineering
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Required Certifications: Encourage OSHA Hazard Communication Standard training and certification.
* Bachelor's degree; preferably in Applied Engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years experience as an Engineering Manager in a full-service resort including numerous amenities.
* Prior experience with UKG Pro preferred.

* Must have the physical strength, stamina and agility to perform the assigned duties.
* The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
* Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
* Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor.
* Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager.
* Requires problem solving abilities.
* Maintain a clean, safe and environmentally responsible work environment.
* Must be able to interact with co-workers and have a sense of TEAM.
* Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the application of sanitation procedures.
Work Performance: Supervise the Maintenance Engineering staff, and one Engineering Supervisor.
Records: Shall maintain Fire and Safety Reports, Maintenance Reports, Utility Consumption and Engineering Reports and maintains Monthly Budget Report.
Planning and Purchasing: Plans and schedules equipment repair and orders materials and tools needed for such repairs. All repairs are scheduled for the safest and shortest shutdown of all equipment and /or area as possible.
Functions: As Fire Marshall, Safety Representative and oversees training of all assigned employees.
Consult with structural, electrical and mechanical contractors pertaining to major repairs and the installation of new equipment for bidding designs and budget estimates.

Physical Requirements;
Ability to lift 75 lbs.
Job requires a great deal of walking, climbing on ladders and bending.
Good fine motor skills for the use of power tools and equipment.
