Responsibilities:

  • Partners with management to improve lending policies and procedures that protect the Credit Union and members' best interest.
  • Communicates Credit Union goals and direction with consumer lending team members to ensure clear understanding of rules, regulations, policies, and expectations.
  • Provides ongoing leadership and coaching to team members. Conducts performance appraisals as required. Identifies gaps in performance and develops appropriate plans to improve performance as needed.
  • Directs and assists with all lending processes, including loan processing, loan documentation, underwriting and approval and/or denial of loans, standards updates, audits, and reports/analysis, as needed.
  • Manages QA reports that are completed in a timely manner, identifies systematic issues and finds ways to improve processes.
  • Maintains knowledge of all regulatory requirements regarding lending including underwriting criteria and dealer lending practices.
  • Identifies and helps implement new systematic changes that increase operational functionality.
  • Promotes and establishes strong, positive and productive working relationships within the organization through commitment to the company's purpose, mission and core values.

Education
Bachelors of Business Administration (required)

Experience
2 years: *2-3 years of management experience required. (required)
5 years: *5+ years of consumer loan processing experience required. (required)
*Previous consumer loan underwriting experience preferred. (preferred)
*Computer proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Internet, and Email. (required)
