Working under general supervision with the Director of Business Solutions, the Manufacturing Business Analyst will lead critical, strategic transformation efforts focused on the company's business processes and technology optimization needs for the manufacturing/operations functional team. The individual will make a meaningful, hands-on contribution to the analysis, design and implementation of business performance approaches. The individual will work with key business stakeholders and information technology, to ensure the application continues to deliver and the efficient flow of information between enterprise user groups. Employees in this position may interact with their leader several times a week, when needed, to receive guidance and feedback. Some non-routine activities may require their leader's advance approval, but routine decisions within the general scope of the role may be made independently.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in defining strategy, business needs and expectations in direct link with the business stakeholders.
  • Participate in defining the vision and then align the DTS Business Solutions roadmap to strategic goals for the organizational relationship management and its place within the information architecture of the enterprise.
  • Develop strong, trusted advisor relationships with key internal and external partners to advise and influence business direction and change efforts.
  • Anticipate future needs by maintaining current customer journey maps and advocacy with Business Process Owner groups.
  • Act as the primary liaison and ambassador for applications both with internal and external audiences, including authority for approval of features and change messaging for end users prior to each release.
  • Ensure baseline matrices are in place to measure process optimization efforts ongoing.
  • Support documentation of current business processes (e.g. SAP, DMC, SAC) and work with functional owners to create knowledge transfer (SOPs), process flows, and gaps/opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Plan and effectively lead overall SME (Subject Matter Expert) interviews, workshops and /or focus groups.
  • Create and foster a network of change advocates and super users throughout the business to effectively roll out process improvement solutions.
  • Evaluate product performance and return on investment.
  • Commit to a continual research and evaluation of market developments in innovation, new technology and trends in the industry.
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with other cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of our standardized processes in Sales and Distribution, Supply Chain and Accounting.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of this role.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or equivalent relevant experience required; manufacturing technology with emphasis in [emphasis] preferred.
  • At least 6 years of progressively responsible experience in manufacturing technology and processes required.
  • Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen a plus.
  • Working knowledge of consumer product goods preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Manufacturing only)

  • Ability to stand/walk for 1 hour on average.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE)

  • Understanding of corporate systems and processes, particularly in the technology capability of manufacturing.
  • Have an ability to confidently initiate and sustain communications with a range of parties within the enterprise.
  • Capability of resolving escalated issues arising from operations through effective coordination and communication
  • Proven experience in influencing lasting organizational transformation, developing, and implementing strategy.
  • Overall understanding of technologies with a focus or commitment to continual learning via conferences and seminars, internal and external networking and the ability to bring that knowledge back to King's Hawaiian and share and/or educate team members.
  • Management of stakeholder expectations.
  • Be a great verbal communicator and listener.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
